Next Sunday, April 24, the first Córdoba Repara Festival will be held. The event is organized by the Youth Directorate and the Free University of the Environment in conjunction with environmental organizations from the city of Córdoba on the occasion of Earth Day.
It will take place on the Enchanted Island of Sarmiento Park, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with free admission. The entrance will be through Gobernador Julio Roca street corner Deodoro Roca in the roundabout of the LGBT flag.
In the place broken objects will be received to be repaired through a workshop open to the public in the open air, there will be bicycle repair, green points arranged by the COyS and a 360 ° space for environmental awareness with artistic interventions.
In addition, the municipal university will have a stand with a proposal for environmental games for children, where the work carried out by the ULA will be announced. There will also be live music, a solidarity collection of coats and blankets, reception of recyclables, local market, vegetarian, vegan and agroecological gastronomy, inclusive experiences and spaces for dialogue on pollution, ecofeminism and composting.
