The Crown premieres its fifth season on the Netflix streaming screen. The premiere will be on November 9 and will narrate the most complicated moments that Queen Elizabeth II experienced in the 1990s, due to political issues and family problems that caused the monarch to be severely hit by the press in her country.

In this season, the queen will celebrate 40 years on the throne, thus beginning a new decade that is shaping up to be a year of celebrations and important events at a political level. They will also portray the place that the monarch came to occupy in the marriage of her eldest son when marital problems begin with his wife, Diana of Wales. A problem that ended in a real scandal and that affected the image of the British royal family.
