A few days before the ninth edition of the Cordovan Festival of Humor and Choripán, we fully immerse ourselves in the preparation and assembly of an event that brings together entire families, and increasingly, a varied public -such as vegetarians and vegans, or celiacs-.
It should be remembered that you can test the classic, gourmet and world versions of the characteristic Cordovan dish al paso. And again, the grillers and chefs of Córdoba will participate in the contest where a jury will choose the 3 best of this year. The winners will receive distinctions made in circular economy materials.
The jury is made up of personalities and local specialists and is chaired by Andrés Chaijale, one of the references of Córdoba gastronomy.
There will be gastronomic proposals, craft beer stalls, a beer patio, a central stage and humor tents on the premises. This year the participation of regional exhibitors that are part of the Metropolitan Entity stands out. Admission is free and the public access hours will be: Friday, March 17 from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. and Saturday 18 from 1:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
In dialogue with Canal C and during the launch of the Festival, Vice Mayor Daniel Passerini commented that this meeting is “A very Cordovan party that this year will have its meeting place in the Ciudad Universitaria, an iconic place in the city. We have great expectations because we have a huge gastronomic and artistic offer.”
For his part, he Secretary of Culture of the Municipality, Mariano Almada, held the call. “All invited to share the Festival. The Cordovan enjoys the events, appropriates their culture and it is a festival of pure identity, the choripán”.
Finally, the cuartetera Lore Jiménez thanked for having been summoned again to enliven the event with their music. “For the second year sharing the vinyl songs, sharing with this generation that enjoys what we like, the popular gathering. Happy to share the songs with you”, said the singer.
