This Monday a new space was launched aimed at generating accompaniment and prevention for neighbors against problematic substance use. It is the Municipal Center for Community Assistance Against Addictions or also called “Las Aldeas”, an initiative promoted by the Municipality of Córdoba.

The center is made up of a four-hectare property, in which more than 200 people receive assistance for mental health problems and addictions through support in mental health and addictions, individual spaces, group spaces, pharmacological treatment, House of Coexistence and Referral to Therapeutic Communities.

The opening ceremony was led by the Mayor of Córdoba, Martin LLaryora. The official declared “We are happy to be able to collaborate with those who are living the hell of drugs, like their families, who often make pilgrimages looking for a place for their treatment. Now they know that they can count on help and accompaniment”
