The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Nation announced the launch of the “Impulso Tambero 2” Program with the objective of providing support to small and medium-sized dairy farmers. This program will have a total amount of 7,000 million pesos destined to strengthen the sector.

As reported, each participating producer will receive a fixed sum for two months, calculated based on the monthly average of milk marketed between April 2022 and March 2023. Those producers who have marketed up to 1,500 liters per day will receive 20 pesos per liter of milk, while those who have marketed between 1,500 and 7,000 liters per day will receive 15 pesos per liter of milk.

It is important to note that the maximum amount to be received by each producer will be 800,000 pesos per month. With this program, it is estimated that 88% of the CUITs of dairy farmers who sell milk will be reached, providing important economic support to a broad sector of the dairy industry in the country.
