Harvey Weinstein suffered a new judicial setback this Wednesday. The New York Justice ratified the sentence against him for sexual abuse and rape, and he must remain in jail until 2040.

The court’s decision was unanimous and all the members dismissed the film producer’s defense claims. The producer was found guilty of raping Jessica Mann and sexually assaulting Miriam Haley.

Weinstein also awaits a new ruling against him for eleven serious sexual crimes (rape, assault and abuse) committed against five women. If his guilt is confirmed, he could get a sentence of 140 years in prison.
