This December 8, as tradition indicates, the lights of the Christmas trees will be turned on. And it will not be the exception for the decoration of enormous dimensions that will be assembled in front of the Bicentennial Lighthouse, in the vicinity of Deodoro Roca street, Carlos Thays corner, on the Day of the Virgin (Day of the Immaculate Conception of Mary) from 8:00 p.m. of this Thursday.
In addition, the event will feature the traditional Christmas carols and a series of concerts and artistic proposals that will recreate the traditional Christmas spirit that is lived on this date, so the invitation is made for the whole family, with free admission.
Christmas Tree Structure
The Christmas tree is made up of strips and balloons arranged in the shape of a cone, whose axis is made up of the Bicentennial Lighthouse. Completing the Christmas setting, the surroundings will shine to be enjoyed by the people of Cordoba and visitors who come to see the installation.
This year, the structure has 40 led strips of 100 meters with RGB technology, 400 monochrome balloons and with RGB technology, configured by a DMX system that will allow the realization of various light scenes. At the tip will shine a three-sided star five meters wide. Have 60 Beam RGBW heads around the entire structure to complement the tree with moving light show. They were placed 36 light up gifts in each of the lampposts that are located on the lighthouse property.
What did not come out this year, so far, is the investment generated by the Government of the Province to carry out the great event. Last year about 10 million pesos were invested to light the tree, which had similar technical characteristics.
