“During two days, the National College of Monserrat will receive referents of this millenary artisan practice, who will give workshops and give talks on the correct selection of the instrument, the ideal materials and on how to maintain and condition them” indicates the press release of the event, which had its first edition in 2019 and resumes in 2022 after two years of stoppage due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The meeting, promoted by the Córdoba School of Lutheria, seeks to “promote the profession of luthiery in our city and strengthen the links between musicians and luthiers”, so it is aimed at amateurs, artisans, students, musicians, entrepreneurs and anyone who likes string instruments and wants to know more about the processes of construction, repair and operation of instruments, according to reports from the organization.

Thus, those who are interested can come on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 October. Admission will be free and free. The Gomalaca and Calibration workshops will have a minimum fee as a contribution.
