The members of the musical group Kapanga were unharmed after the bus in which they were traveling was hit by a car in the vicinity of the Buenos Aires city of Carmen de Areco when they were returning from a show and the “Mono”, leader of the band, said that the driver of the vehicle was “alcoholized”.

The accident occurred in the early hours of this Monday at the intersection of Route 7 with Provincial Route 51, Carmen de Areco height, when the band was traveling from Córdoba to Escobar to give a show and there was a collision with a Chevrolet Cruze whose driver threw 1.65 g/l of alcohol in blood in the control.

“Today we get away,” said “Mono,” who said that 15 people were on the bus who, fortunately, were not injured, at the same time that he indicated: “We want to bring peace of mind to our families and, when the law so provides, we will be able to leave and give them a hug.”

In addition, he pointed out: “There is a slight injury from their car. We were coming along Route 7, a drunk driver in a car crossed and hit us head-on. We have been on the route for 27 years, it is the first time it has happened to us and we are tired of seeing drunks on the roads”.

“Fortunately, we can tell it, many people can’t. No more deaths on the roads,” said the singer in dialogue with TN, after which he added: “Every day we see an accident and in 85 percent the driver He’s drunk.”
