On the afternoon of this Tuesday, the CGT, the CTA and the business chambers agreed in the Salary Council an increase of the minimum, vital and mobile of 20% in four tranches on basic credit, currently at $57,900so that in March it will reach $69,500. As stipulated, 7 percent will be paid in December, 6 in January, 4 in February and another 3 in March 2023.

The vote, which was carried out virtually, garnered 31 votes in favor and one vote against the General Secretary of the Autonomous CTA, Hugo “Cachorro” Godoy.

This was confirmed by the union spokesmen of the Autonomous CTA and pointed out that the agreement implied that “the minimum income rises to 69,500 pesos only in March,” said the state leader and leader of the central, Hugo Godoy.

“It’s been a while since Inflation in Argentina is not determined by price increases, but because of the speculation of the business sectors. And we do not see any effort from employers to distribute income in favor of workers,” Godoy said in a statement.

The meeting was held with the supervision of the Ministry of Labor led by Raquel “Kelly” Olmos.
