This Thursday afternoon the Salary Council approved an increase in minimum, vital and mobile salary of 34% quarterly. The increase was rejected by the Autonomous CTA, while Hugo Yasky’s CTA abstained from the vote.
Currently the minimum wage is $87,987. With this agreement, the salary will be updated up to $118,000 in three sections along July($105,500), August(112,500) and September((118,000).
The increase in the minimum salary impacts both the Empower Work and the Accompany Program. These beneficiaries perceive a value that corresponds to the 50% of the total amount of the monthly SMVM.
