In the latest agreements between Argentina and the organization, the meetings revolved around the amount that the Fund will anticipate so that the head of the Palacio de Hacienda, Sergio Massa, can maintain the exchange rate against the pressures of different sectors of the financial market. In turn, these meetings are key for the national government to maintain the pace of economic activity.

During this Monday, the entire economic cabinet team will meet. Massa will give the directives to Rubinstein and the head of advisers of the Mecon, Leonrado Madcur, for the meetings with the representatives of the Fund. The GPNK will be a key point to support the proposal of a repayment plan with genuine dollars.

The negotiation with the IMF would show that it will allow it to have a margin of money only for the maturities of June and July, about 5.1 billion dollars, and 1.5 billion for the electoral margin that is coming up this year,

According to the income of dollars, this would not be the maximum expected by the economic sector, when an income of more than 12,000 million dollars was assumed, which would occur as a result of the sum of the disbursements of the rest of 2023 and another part of the coming year.
