The Respira Córdoba project was selected among 3,500 projects from various cities around the world in the ninth edition of the Green Awards challenge. It was coordinated from the Secretariat of Modernization Planning and International Relations, of the Municipality of Córdoba.

The contest aims to promote sustainable urban development, focused on social and environmental policies and seeks to contribute to boosting the green economy by exhibiting regional initiatives in 8 categories aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): “Cities”, ” Biodiversity”, “Waste”, “Public Policies”, “Energy”, “Economy”, “Human Development” and “Communication”.

Respira Córdoba is an international cooperation project co-financed by the European Union, with the support of the FAMSI Network and accompanied by bilateral coordination with the City of Córdoba, Spain, whose purpose is to green and recover the historical, heritage and landscape value of the Central area of ​​the municipality.
