Little by little, different confirmations are being made in the electoral field. The vote is getting closer and the markets, inflation and the internal party are burning. In this context, this Thursday the National Electoral Chamber announced the approval of the electoral schedule for the next elections. At the national level, elections PASSED will be on august 13 and the generals, on October 22.

Through Extraordinary Agreement No. 35, the country’s highest electoral court established, among other issues, the dates of the primary and general elections, when the registers can be consulted, the recognition of electoral alliances and the deadlines of the electoral campaign.

It should be remembered that yesterday the dates of the Mandatory Presidential Debates to be held on October 1 and October 8, and in case there was a second rounda third debate will be held on 12th of November.

Another important piece of information is that there are still three provinces that have not yet given details about their elections. Starting by Cordova, which was strongly questioned by the opposition to the government of Juan Schiaretti due to the mystique surrounding the date of the vote. The other districts are Formosa, Entre Rios and Chubut. all have until May 15 to define the call for the open, simultaneous and mandatory primary elections (STEP) in case they are carried out, and until July 24 to call the provincial elections. Thirteen governors have already unfolded their presidential elections.

Below are the important dates of the national electoral schedule:

June 24: end of the term for the presentation of lists of pre-candidates before the party electoral boards and beginning of the electoral campaign for the PASO;

July 9th: beginning of the electoral campaign for the PASO in audiovisual media;

July 14: designation of board authorities and publication of the definitive register;

July 19: beginning of the prohibition of public acts likely to promote the recruitment of suffrage;

July 29: dissemination of polling places and polling stations;

August 11: end of the electoral campaign and beginning of the electoral ban;

August 13: Primary, Open, Simultaneous and Compulsory elections (PASO);

September 2: beginning of the electoral campaign for the general elections;

September, 17th: start of the electoral campaign in audiovisual communication media;

September 22: publication of the final registers;

September 27th: beginning of the prohibition of public acts likely to promote the recruitment of suffrage;

October 1st: mandatory presidential debate (first instance);

October 8th: mandatory presidential debate (second instance);

October 20: end of the campaign and beginning of the electoral ban;

October 22: general elections;

12th of November: mandatory presidential debate (in the event of a possible second round);

November 19th: possible ballot.
