In recent times, WhatsApp has been concerned with solving some of the main shortcomings that exist within its platform, with the idea of being able to match its main competitor, Telegram, in functions. So far, the Meta app has undergone endless changes, now the company is working on a WhatsApp Web function that we have been waiting for for a long time.

The messaging platform has been developing a function that will stop having to use third-party servers to obtain good results, such as the use of Transfer. In general, users used this app to be able to send photos in original quality. Well, WhatsApp lowered the quality of the images when they were shared from its platform. Now, we already know that this functionality will also reach the desktop version of WhatsApp.

With the new update, the Beta version of WhatsApp Web will include a new button in the image sending menu that allows you to send them without loss of quality. Thus, when you press this button, you will see two options: Standard quality: send compressed images or HD quality: send high quality photos. At the moment, this function is still in development, which means that after it has been tested it will reach all users.
