Within the framework of the 449th anniversary of the city of Córdoba, the North Market will hold a celebration on Friday, July 8 and Saturday, July 9. The event will be called “Mercado Cordobés” and the first day will include a day of flower fair, social economy and musical shows. At the same time, chef Nicolás Mercau, from the Casa de Fuego restaurant, will give a live gastronomic exhibition.
On Saturday the 9th, Independence Day, there will be a special guided tour in order to remember the history of this emblematic space of the city. During the walk you will be able to observe the traditional architecture and listen to the story of the historical origins of the North Market. At the end, you can taste hot chocolate with churros.
The starting point will be at 11 in the Cantara Passage that marks the entrance to the North Market building.
