The Government of the Province of Córdoba reported that it ordered to settle a 10% salary increase corresponding to the month of February to employees belonging to the different ranks of the Provincial Executive Branch. As indicated by the Honeycomb, the decision was adopted while the dialogue with the union entities that represent public employees continues.

The agreement contemplates a 40% increase guideline until Julyto be paid in four tranches: 10% in February, 8% in March, 12% in May and 10% in July, with respect to salaries in January 2023.

In addition, it incorporates a guarantee clause of the purchasing power of wages whereby, if the accumulated inflation in the months of January, February, March and April results in a percentage greater than 30%, the difference between the percentage increase of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) published by the General Directorate of Statistics and Censuses of Córdoba and said 30%, will automatically be added to the salaries for the month of May.

The increase will be deposited next Friday, March 24. According to what the Province reported, “the measure is carried out with the purpose of taking care of the salary of the active, as well as of the retirees of said sectors, within the framework of the serious inflationary process that the country is going through.”
