The second part of Dune has already started shooting and will feature new cast members like Austin Butler, Florence Pugh and Christopher Walken. The sequel will be released exclusively in theaters, and will not premiere simultaneously on HBO Max like it did with Dune Part One.
In an official plot synopsis, the sequel will explore “Paul Atreides’ mythical journey as he joins Chani and the Fremen.” Meanwhile, he is on the warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. The sequel to the successful film that was released in 2021 will advance its release date. Warner originally planned to release Dune on November 17 next year, but now it will be available in theaters two weeks earlier. That is, from November 2, 2023.

Dune has been rated as one of the best fiction films of 2021, which, with 10 nominations, managed to win 6 Oscars, including best photography and soundtrack; among other industry awards.
