The Secretariat for Climate Risk Management and Civil Protection and Cosedepro decided to suspend the 7th date of the Argentine Rally due to extreme fire risk conditions in the provincial territory.
The event, which was scheduled for next weekend in the Punilla Valley, with its epicenter in Villa Carlos Paz, included routes that fall within the areas of greatest risk of fires, with a high concentration of combustible plant material.
The resolution was also adopted by the Volunteer Firefighters with jurisdiction in the respective areas.

The Government of Córdoba ratifies its willingness to hold the event on a new date where the weather conditions are appropriate for its development without risk to life, property and the environmental heritage of the Province.
The notification of the suspension 48 hours before the completion of the test is due to the fact that the weather conditions are technically predictable with greater certainty and rigor in that period of time.
In fact, at the time this provision was communicated, various fires were recorded in different parts of the provincial geography.
