On the 131st anniversary of the inauguration of the Teatro del Libertador San Martín, the Provincial Orchestra of Citizen Music will offer a concert this Tuesday with the musical director Damián Torres, an outstanding bandoneonist, composer and musical arranger.
The repertoire of the concert will include numerous numbers including Ensueños, the flagship work of the pianist, composer and director, Luis Brighenti; Double A, an instrumental piece by Damián Torres dedicated to the famous bandoneon of the same brand; Los Pinta, by Hernán Soria; and Fuga 9, by Astor Piazzolla.
They will also listen to La guitarrita, by Eduardo Arolas (short-lived musician and prolific work); and My beloved fueye, by Leopoldo Federico, one of the great bandoneonists and directors of city music.
