The 28th edition of the traditional Brocheriana Pilgrimage will begin next Saturday in the Cordoba town of Villa Carlos Paz and will conclude next Wednesday the 15th of this month in Villa Cura Brochero, after crossing the Sierras Grandes on foot or on horseback, depending on the choice of each pilgrim. .

A large number of participants are expected in the event that will have five stages, and in which walkers and those who prefer to travel on a horse will travel 150 kilometers until they reach the final destination.

This event is part of an annual homage and commemoration of the country’s first saint, José Gabriel del Rosario Brochero, who traveled with his solidarity work the paths through which pilgrims will travel.

“As in all previous editions, an outstanding and massive call is expected. Everything is already prepared so that local pilgrims, from all the cardinal points of the country, and also those from South America and the world, can transit while enjoying the best landscapes of the province of Córdoba”, indicated the Córdoba Tourism Agency in the presentation.

The pilgrims will spend the night in destinations such as Villa Carlos Paz, Tanti, Los Gigantes, San Jerónimo, Ambul and Villa Cura Brochero, where the journey will end.
