This afternoon, Thelma Fardín announced that the trial against Juan Darthés will resume in Brazil. The actor, accused of sexual abuse, must testify before the Justice on October 20 in the country where he currently resides.

At a press conference, the actress referred to the subject and said: “After 4 years, she is going to testify in court. It is a pivotal moment for me and I hope it is historic for all the people who dare to testify for sexual abuse.”. In addition, he maintained that the process “was not reparative” but “was violent and painful with her and her surroundings.”

The judicial process had been interrupted in February of this year, when Judge Ali Mazloum heeded a statement by the defendant’s defense. Given this, Fardin appealed and that caused the Court to reverse his decision in a historic ruling.
