The tweets of the political personalities about the conviction of Cristina: Who is in favor and who is against?
This Monday, within the framework of the Road Case, federal prosecutor Diego Luciani asked that Cristina Kirchner be sentenced to 12 years in prison and lifelong disqualification from holding public office. Almost immediately, the different politicians began to express themselves about what happened.
Sergio Massa, the recently appointed Minister of the Economy, was one of the first to speak out, referring to the request for conviction and affirming that “we are facing a dangerous precedent.” In addition, like Alberto Fernández, he shared the official statement from the Presidency, which began: “The national government condemns the judicial and media persecution against Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, which was expressed today, once again, in the final argument and request for penalty in the so-called Road Cause”.

The news reached all parts of Latin America, this is demonstrated by the message of the former president of Bolivia, Evo Morales. The former president is known for having a close relationship with the vice president, for which I do not hesitate to show him her support.
Along these lines, different members of the cabinet also showed their support for Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. One of the members who followed the case more closely was Wado de Pedro, Minister of the Interior, who published innumerable messages throughout the process.

On the opposite side, there are many politicians who ask that prosecutor Luciani’s prison request be fulfilled or at least perpetual disqualification from political activity.
Roberto García Moritán, Buenos Aires Legislator who gained prominence in the Córdoba media agenda after showing support for the victims of the Neonatal tragedy, was outright against the vice president.
Mario Negri, President of the UCR Block, celebrated the actions of the prosecution and after listing different articles of the penal code, he wrote the lapidary words: “Whoever thinks he is above the Law, has just heard the most feared words”
For his part, the National Deputy López Murphy said that the president’s different words of self-defense are nothing more than a simple “act of stud-up so that the seals of always applaud”
