With more than 107,000 views on the TikTok platform, the user Minhopuzzle went viral showing how he solves the classic 3×3 Rubik’s Cube when a wayward corner is giving you a headache. It should be noted that this young man is an expert in solving magic cubes and has a vast collection that ranges from cubes with different numbers of pieces per side to round, triangular, fruit-shaped, among many more.
“The solution to all your problems,” he describes in the video. In his voiceover, Minho tells step by step how to proceed in these cases, assuring that it is a trick that starts from an algorithm, which helps to solve the “99% of the rubiks cubes you face”. Minho explains that this trick is based on “flip the corners and put them back in place”.
“To start with, you should have the corner you want to flip at the top right”, he begins by explaining the tiktoker who has more than 130,000 followers. The series of movements continues with four steps: “First you go down, then down left, we return what we have downloaded and we return to the right”. This must be repeated until the corner that we want to fix is well placed. Once it is fixed, we must move the other corner to fix to the initial position, in the upper right part. From there, you have to repeat the previous four steps until you are in the right place.
