This Tuesday, the Ministers of Education, Jaime Perczykand Public Works, Gabriel Katopodis, participated in the inauguration of new building spaces in the National University of Córdoba (UNC) next to the rector John Borettoworks that total more than 2,500m2 built with an investment of close to $220 million.

After the tour of the brand new spaces located in the University City of the Cordovan capital, Perczyk held: “Our country has many problems and the university has to be part of the solutions. That is why these works have value, because they provide solutions to the inequality that our society lives through.” Katopodis For his part, he explained that “The decision is to reach every corner of Argentina with these works, so that students from the 57 national universities have quality spaces”.

In this sense, the head of the House of Studies, considered: “These works are very important and aim to improve the quality of the teaching we provide. They are part of a plan approved unanimously by the Superior Council of the UNC and have been carried out thanks to the National Infrastructure Plan. On our part, We appreciate the work of the ministers because in a difficult economic context we have been able to materialize these new spaces”.

The new spaces are located in the Faculty of Arts, where a new block of 1,443 m2 was built, which required an investment of $107,413,032.63; in the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities The expansion of the Venezuela Pavilion was carried out, with a work that extends to 455 m2 and an investment of $33,313,278.81. The third authorized sector is in the Building of the Faculty of Dentistry, with the construction of a new 610.92m2 block, which implied an investment of $92,509,656.46. In all three cases the works were 100% completed.
