The National University of Córdoba (UNC) offers for the second consecutive year its virtual course of “Gender training and approach to violence”.

It is coordinated by the Central Gender Policy Unit of the university and its main objective is the incorporation of conceptual and normative tools on gender and sexual diversity, as well as facilitating access to policies for the prevention and approach of gender violence.

The course is free and will be available throughout the year at the UNC Virtual Campus. In addition, the training has a self-administered modality, so each person can manage the time they need to progress with each module, although a workload of 45 hours in total for your course.

In the first edition, held between May 2020 and December 2022, they trained more than 5,000 people from all over the country. In it, the prevalence of people belonging to the province of Córdoba was observed, followed by Buenos Aires, Entre Ríos and Santa Fe.

For this new course, the reading materials and audiovisual resources have been updated, including interviews with specialists and referents on gender issues, awareness campaigns and advertising spots.

Likewise, the content was restructured into three modules, where concepts such as gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, types and modalities of violence.
