In the last few hours, a video began to go viral through social networks where you can see sea lions playing in huge waves near Santa Barbara in California. The video has nearly half a million views and thousands of likes.
The video was documented on a Pacific Offshore boat expedition, where a National Geographic camera was located. As they moved out to sea towards Santa Barbara Island, west of Los Angeles, they encountered huge waves and a group of sea lions surfing some big waves.

The leader of the expedition, Ryan Lawler had assured that “he had never seen anything like it”, despite the fact that this island is known precisely for the large community of sea lions.
