This Thursday, the Minister of Government and Security, Julián López, led a meeting of the Province-Municipalities Board this Thursday at the Civic Center, where he announced a 60% increase in the Permanent Fund for financing government infrastructure projects and programs local.
The referent mayors of the blocks that make up the Province-Municipalities Table signed the agreement that establishes the increase from stage 47. The budget reinforcement will be implemented from November.
The Permanent Fund is a financing tool promoted by the Province for local government works and projects.
«This fund constitutes a great example of the operation of the Province-Municipalities Roundtable, where the 427 municipalities and communes of our province have a voice through the referents of different political forces. In this way we can move forward contemplating the needs and realities of the different localities”, Lopez said.
