A group of criminals entered the house of Jorge Lanata in José Ignacio, Uruguay. According to the same journalist, he told on his radio program Lanata without filterthe thieves entered by force on Sunday, and one of them is already arrested.

“They entered through the kitchen, they turned everything upside down, I imagine they were looking for twine and they couldn’t find it because they weren’t going to store twine there,” he said, explaining that at the time of the incident there was no one in the building. Lanata assured that the intruders left everything in a mess and apparently they were not able to take anything.

“They entered through the kitchen, they turned everything upside down, I imagine they were looking for twine and they didn’t find it because they weren’t going to store twine there,” he said.

The incident happened while Lanata performed her program Journalism For All (PPT).

“I don’t think they knew it was my house. Because, I’m sorry, if I go in to rob a house, I prefer it to be someone else’s because not being known makes it easier for them not to look for me. It was obvious that if they seized my house, 10 minutes later everyone was there,” added the journalist
