Through resolution 682/2022, published in the Official Gazette, Justice Minister Martín Soria announced that said plan will be implemented by the National Directorate for Racial Equity, Migrants and Refugees.
Among the objectives of this initiative are to develop and execute actions for the protection and promotion of the rights of the Afro-descendant population through cooperation with international and local organizations.
In addition, the program is committed to defending the inclusion and transversality of the ethnic-racial perspective in all the organizations of the Argentine State.
It also proposes coordination with civil society organizations and the Legislative and Judicial branches of strategies for the benefit of these citizens and their effective access to all rights.
