Governor Juan Schiaretti inaugurated today in Balnearia an important drinking water supply and distribution project that will benefit more than 20,000 inhabitants of the Río Primero and San Justo departments, covering the towns of La Para, Altos de Chipión, Marull, Balnearia and Miramar. The work, fully financed by the Government of the Province of Córdoba and the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development, aims to extend the coverage of the Villa María-San Francisco-Morteros system to La Para, connecting it with new perforations in the end of the line.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Public Services, Fabián López, explained that the work includes more than 85 kilometers of pipes, six 110-meter-deep perforations, submersible pumps and an investment of approximately 19 million dollars. For his part, the governor highlighted the importance of this work for the progress of the region and stressed that the Province will finance the municipalities to execute the water networks.
