A great scare was experienced this Tuesday at noon in a building complex located in the San Martín neighborhood, when a fire broke out in one of the apartments. It was on Calle Soldado Ruiz at 1030. The residents of the entire building had to be evacuated, and three older adults, aged 87, 90 and 95, needed assistance at the scene due to signs of intoxication.

According to the police report, the fire broke out on the fifth floor. “At first, the neighbors helped, then the Fire Department and the DUaR acted, and put out the fire.”

In addition, they reported that there were no serious injuries and that, as a preventive measure, Soldier Ruiz Street was closed to allow work to be carried out at the site.
