The campaign consists of the application of additional MMR vaccines (against measles, rubella and mumps) and IPV/Salk (inactivated polio), to children of 13 months to 4 years inclusive.

Vaccines are free and they are available in centers distributed throughout the province, in fixed posts and on territorial tours.

In the Cordoba cityin addition to being able to apply in the usual vaccination centers, there will also be special positions in the hypermarkets Freedom of Poeta Lugones and Villa Rivera Indarte on weekends (Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.). In addition, it is an opportunity to complete the schemes of this population for all vaccines, particularly also for Covid-19 ”.

He also added that “There is a permanent risk that viruses such as measles or polio enter Argentina through people who travel to regions with circulation, so that outbreaks could be generated in our country. Hence, it is essential to achieve maximum vaccination coverage as soon as possible”.
