Members of the neighborhood Front of the CTA of the workers make claims today against the “exorbitant” price of bread. As a protest they will sell bread for $150 in the downtown area of the city. The point of sale will be the Rosario de Santa Fe square on the corner of Ituzaingó, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today.
From the agency they denounce that the increase in bread is the fault “of the greed of 5 flour mills”. “Although this situation occurs in all foods, we chose bread because of its symbolic nature and because it is essential on the table of the humblest” they declared when justifying the claim.
“Together with all social organizations we propose the creation of a NATIONAL FOOD COMPANY, to get out of the trap of monopolies” concludes the statement from the CTA Front Neighborhood.
