The provincial government together with the municipality will make an investment of more than 44 million pesos, earmarked for recovery works and access to Zípoli Island, located on the Suquía River, between the Sagrada Familia and Zípoli Bridges.
The works include the execution of a pedestrian bridge that will connect the island with the bike path, creating a new space for recreation, walking and leisure. The bike lane will extend within the island covering a distance of 480 meters. It will be two meters wide, will be made of reinforced concrete and will have containment measures against erosion.
In addition, the new Zípoli Island will have stations for practicing exercises and state-of-the-art children’s games.
