A 30-year-old man was arrested yesterday in Villa Huidobro, a city located 400 km south of Córdoba, accused of attempted murder against an 18-year-old boy.
According to police sources, a call alerted the police regarding a young man who was injured by a firearm. Although the victim was shot, he was out of danger.
When the police personnel arrived, they had to assist the young man at the scene and later he was transferred to the local hospital.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Huinca Renancó intervened in the event and the prosecutor on duty ordered a series of tests to be carried out and search warrants were released, which gave a positive result: the weapon used by the suspect was seized and the arrest of a 30-year-old man, accused of the crime of aggravated attempted murder.
The accused was housed in the mayor’s office of the General Roca Department, at the disposal of the intervening judge.
