The price of bread increases from Thursday May 19 in Córdoba due to the increase in the value of raw materials. This was reported by Rinaldo Rusconi, President of the Bakery Industrial Center of Córdoba (CIPAC), to Cadena 3.
According to the authority, the rise in bread was “imminent” as a result of the increase in prices of flour, yeast, oil, fuel (which affects logistics) and also due to the increase in personnel assets.
He also assured that the decision was resolved on Tuesday night in a meeting with the commission of authorities of the bakery sector.
“We load all the items that make up the cost of bakery products and they give us values with which we have determined to resolve a price increase,” said Rusconi.
He also specified the suggested prices for the different products: French bread, at 300 pesos per kilo; the mignon, at 330 pesos; and the common creole at 550 pesos.
