This Wednesday, the operation of the 2022 National Population, Homes and Housing Census is carried out in person in private homes in urban areas throughout the Argentine territory. On Census Day, which is a national holiday, the inhabitants must remain at home from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to receive the census taker.
People who did not complete the Digital Census must answer the questionnaire made up of 61 questions, and those who completed it digitally will have to present the census taker with the six-digit alphanumeric code they received in their emails as proof of completion.
The official site is available until this Wednesday at 8 in the morning, before teachers begin with the face-to-face operation. So far, 42.53% of Cordoba homes answered the Digital Census.
The face-to-face census can take about 15 to 20 minutes. Of the 61 questions included, 24 are related to the characteristics of the dwelling and the home and 37 are about the population. Any person who is at home and is over 14 years of age can answer the questionnaire.
The questions in the questionnaire are not related to personal data such as full names, DNI, CUIL or CUIT; neither about household income, vaccination and Covid-19, email or phone. The information provided by the citizen is protected by statistical secrecy and the person providing it cannot be identified.
Questionnaire for collective housing
They are spaces intended for the accommodation of people who live under an institutional (non-family) regime, such as: barracks, religious homes, hospitals, homes for the elderly, prisons, camps or workshops, student residences, schools or boarding schools, homes of girls, boys and adolescents and tourist hotels. They are regulated by rules of coexistence of an administrative, military, religious, health, and educational nature, among others.
It should be noted that on Wednesday, during the traditional census in the territory, it is not necessary for the census takers to enter the dwelling. To recognize them, they will wear a chest with the image of the Census and the telephone number of the help desk (0800-345-2022), and a credential with their personal data (name, surname and DNI).
In turn, your identity can be verified through the 2022 Census website in the “census takers” section https://registro.censo.gob.ar/censistas by simply entering your ID.
