The lawyer Daniel Lacase, former legal representative of the widower Marcelo Macarrón, whom several witnesses pointed out as the one who diverted the investigation into the crime of Nora Dalmasso, will testify this Tuesday in the jury trial that is being carried out for the femicide committed in November 2006 in Río Cuarto, informed judicial sources.

Lacase was mainly accused by the children of Macarrón and Dalmasso – Facundo and Valentina – as being responsible for the multiple versions introduced in the case to divert the investigation during the investigation stage.

During the 18th hearing, doctor Diego Ernesto Cagnolatti, a witness to various rumours, is also expected to testify. To date, 47 people have already testified and the widower Macarrón is the only one accused of the crime of “qualified homicide by the link, by treachery, and by price or remuneration promise in an ideal contest.”
