Two fatal crashes were recorded in the last hours in the interior of the province, with the balance of two dead and three injured. One of the accidents occurred in the town of Melo, when two motorcyclists collided with a Toyota truck.
The crash occurred at kilometer 227 of Route 4, and the fatal victim was identified as Fabián Núñez (38), a native of Laboulaye. His partner Ángel Contreras (42) suffered serious injuries and was admitted to the intensive care unit at the Villa María hospital.
The other road accident was recorded at kilometer 535 of Route 7, when two cargo trucks collided head-on, and a 57-year-old man identified as Adrian Figueroa lost his life in the accident. The pact recorded in the vicinity of General Lavalle was of such magnitude that the occupants of the other vehicle involved were also injured.
