UN Women launched the Argentina National Chapter of the Unstereotype Alliance, an international campaign fighting for the elimination of harmful stereotypes in media and advertising.

The United Nations entity for gender equality and the empowerment of women, seeks through this campaign to address gender stereotypes in advertising and the media and expand the representation of all people.

In addition, one of its main objectives is to be able to eliminate the stereotypes that limit the opportunities and interests of women and girls, deconstructing the hegemonic representation of beauty and eradicating the content that reifies them.

In this framework, Argentina is the third country in Latin America to join the UN Women campaign, in addition to Brazil and Mexico.
