The Minister of Economy of the Nation, Sergio Massa asked to Justice “investigate, persecute and, where appropriate, arrest those responsible” of the fire on high voltage cables that led to a massive blackout that left several provinces without power on Wednesday afternoon.

The complaints were filed in the Federal Court of Campana, in charge of Adrian Gonzalez Charvaywhich has jurisdiction in the area of tuna I located in the Buenos Aires town of Lima.

The complaint, which bears Massa’s signature, asks “arrest those responsible for the very serious events that occurred that day” and what could “fit in the crime of arson and havoc”. For the minister, there was intentionality in the fire that affected the country.
