Merchants of Parque Sarmiento denounced this Wednesday a wave of robberies in the area. A gang of at least 30 members take drugs, rob and beat people who are walking around the place.

The acts of insecurity occur at the intersection of Deodoro Roca and Amado Roldán streets, in front of the Super Park. There, some 30 men between the ages of 18 and 40 take advantage of the limited police presence – especially on Sundays – to snatch mobile phones and other belongings. Furthermore, those who resist are brutally beaten.

The gang would bear the name of the gang of 22 and warn that the aggressors also threaten with guns and knives.
