What to do this week in Córdoba?: Look and schedule!
The agenda of activities of the Córdoba Cultura Agency proposes different events to enjoy local artists. Each week there is a large program that goes from November 28 to December 4. This week the following events stand out:
Next Friday the 2nd from 5:30 p.m. on the Paseo del Buen Pastor a new edition of the Let’s Applaud the Bands Festival will take place with free admission. Two days of pure music with groups of different genres such as pop, rock, jazz, soul, salsa, freestyle, quartet, folklore, while on Sunday the 4th the different orchestras and youth groups will take place, carrying out hard training work in different educational centers and neighborhoods of the city. The festival closes with the presentation of “La Collegium Big Band”.
On Saturday 3 at 8:00 p.m. at the Córdoba Cultural Center there will be a theater with free admission. The proposal is Alice is no longer Alice, a brief adaptation of the well-known work “Alice in Wonderland” written and dramatized by children, trans and non-binary youth. The work is built within the framework of the Provincial Program for the Human Rights of Children, Trans, Non-Binary Youth and their Families or Significant References, dependent on the Human Rights Secretariat of the Province. This adaptation stars two characters from the well-known story, Alice and the Hat, who interpret different dialogues throughout a gender transition, representing the tensions and dilemmas that occur during this process.
On the same Saturday 3 at 9:00 p.m. at the Teatro Real, the theater cast Defiarte premieres the play Entre hormigas y cigarras as part of the Day of Persons with Disabilities. The plot follows a path through the passage of time where different scenes show us the depreciation of being an artist at different times, also showing that creative activities reappear as a way to save themselves from the enormous anguish of the human being in the face of adversity and uncertainty.
These are just some of the activities that can be enjoyed, the complete schedule, here.
We launch, once again, the Córdoba Lee Program
From today until December 30, the call for popular libraries throughout the province to access a $100,000 subsidy is open. pic.twitter.com/V6fGuKpmTn
