WhatsApp continues to incorporate new features within its platform. In recent months, the messaging giant has made a strong commitment to introduce improvements and new tools and functions, to facilitate and improve the user experience in it. Among them came a significant improvement that seeks to revolutionize WhatsApp groups.

As confirmed from Meta, work is being done within the application to double the size of the groups to accommodate a maximum of up to 1024 members. At the moment, this feature is only available to a limited number of Beta users, although more Betas are expected to roll out over the next few weeks and eventually to the wider community.

To find out if you already have this new function, you have to create a group or add new participants to an existing one. If the limit is still 512 participants, you still do not have the latest update so you will have to wait a little longer to increase the size of your groups.

On the other hand, WhatsApp is also developing new features that will be available in groups. Through which administrators will be sought to have more control over them, such as a list of users who want to enter them or a system for approving new members.
