WhatsApp had announced just a short time ago that it would bring a new update aimed at lovers of voice notes. The messaging platform would include the possibility of publishing audio states, without having to add images, text or video. Now, the arrival of this function seems to be imminent, at least initially for those who have the beta version.
When posting an audio status on WhatsApp, the platform will give users the ability to change the background color of the status. The audio can only have a duration of up to 30 seconds and will sound immediately when a contact opens it.

The feature will initially be available in version 2.22.21.5 of WhatsApp Beta for Android. We will have to wait until its development is more advanced to start using it. Once it passes the necessary tests in the development version, it will be implemented in the stable version of the application, and it will only be necessary to download the latest version of WhatsApp to start using it.
