WhatsApp incorporates a new function within its platform, but this time it will be intended only for its web version with the aim of improving security on it. This is a new function that will allow you to lock the screen of its version for computers. In this way, users will be able to use the application with greater peace of mind and without having to worry about their messages being seen by other people.
How will WhatsApp Web screen lock work?
This tool will work through a password that you must use each time you enter the page. An important detail is that the password is also saved locally, that is, if you forget it, it will only be necessary to close the session and enter again by linking your phone with the QR code. Once inside you can set a new password if you wish.

The new function can be used only if you wish, in case you do not prefer it, you simply do not need to activate it. On the other hand, the application wants to include a screen lock that works with fingerprint identification, specifically for Mac computers that have a fingerprint sensor available.
At the moment this tool is being developed by the programmers of the Meta company, so the interface is not finished and it will take a while for it to be available to users. In any case, we recommend that you always keep the application updated to find out all the news about it.
