The Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, and the Minister of Education, Jaime Perczyk, announced a new increase in the amount of the Progresar Scholarships with the aim of promoting the completion of studies at different educational levels.

From this month, The students who receive the 13,000-peso scholarship will receive 20,000 pesos during the 12 months, benefiting a total of one million seven hundred thousand children, according to Massa, in an act with a group of students.

Perczyk highlighted that the Progresar scholarship program it has 20 thousand establishments and that this measure reflects an important investment so that students can continue their studies.

The Progresar program, implemented since December 2021, Its objective is to strengthen the entry, permanence and graduation of students, promoting the completion of compulsory education and promoting higher education and professional training courses. It is divided into four types of scholarships: Progress Mandatory, Progress Superior, Progress Nursing and Progress Work, each with specific requirements and benefits.

Young people who meet the requirements can register on the official page or the app of the program during the established periods. The beneficiaries receive 80% of the amount of the scholarship during the course and the remaining 20% ​​when certifying regularity during the year or course. Higher level advanced students charge 100% of the amount.

Massa stressed that investing in education is a way to create equality and highlighted the importance of supporting students, especially those who are the first in their families to access higher education.

– Being Argentine/or native/or; naturalized or foreigner, with legal residence of two (2) years in the country and have ID.

– Be a regular student of an educational institution.

– Be between 16 and 24 years old.

– It extends up to 35 years of age to people with children under 18 years of age belonging to single-parent households.

– No age limit for trans people, indigenous peoples, people with disabilities or refugees.

– Be a regular student of an educational institution.

– Be between 17 and 24 years old.

– Advanced students in the career, up to thirty (30) years of age.

– Nursing students with no age limit.

– It extends up to 35 years of age to people with dependent children under 18 years of age belonging to single-parent households.

– No age limit for trans people, indigenous peoples, people with disabilities or refugees.

– The income of the young person and their family group must not exceed three (3) Minimum, Vital and Mobile Salaries (SMVM).

For the compulsory level Progresar it is a requirement to be between 16 and 24 years of age

– Be native or naturalized Argentines or foreigners, with legal residence of five (5) years in the country and DNI.

– Be over 17 years of age at the closing of the respective call, without age limit.

– The income of the young person and their family group must not exceed three (3) Minimum, Vital and Mobile Salaries (SMVM).

– Be a graduate of the middle level and not owe subjects at the time of registration.

– Study or enter to study at Higher Technical Education Institutes of State Management. Exceptionally, the Higher Technical Education Institutes of Private Management registered in PRONAFE.

– Being Argentine/or native/or; naturalized or foreigner, with legal residence of two (2) years in the country and have ID.

– Be between 18 and 24 years old.

– It is extended up to 35 years of age to people with children under 18 years of age belonging to single-parent households and up to 40 years of age for people who do not have registered formal work.

– No age limit for trans people, indigenous peoples, people with disabilities or refugees.

– The sum of the income of the young person must not exceed three (3) Minimum, Vital and Mobile Salaries (SMVM).
