Winter holidays: What to do today in Córdoba?

WALK

“Illuminated Cordoba”: A tour of the most significant sites of the historic center at sunset. Time: 7:00 p.m. Starting point: OIT Güemes (Av. Vélez Sarsfield corner Bv San Juan). Pick up the voucher in advance at the Tourist Information Office of the Cabildo or at the OIT Güemes.

Historical Center and Jesuit Block Route: San Martín Square – Cabildo – Cathedral – Santa Catalina Passage – Jesuit Block (Church, University and Historical Museum). Time: 4 p.m. Advance reservation. Duration 2 hours.

EXPERIENCE

Capuchin Experience: Place: Buenos Aires esq. Bishop Gold, New Cordoba. Time: 4:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The Church is visited and the tour includes the ascent to the tower. There are thematic guided tours such as “La Luna Tour” on dates indicated in the annual calendar, when the full moon can be admired in its maximum splendor. Duration: 1 hour. It is an exhibition designed by the Barrilete Children’s Museum, which combines the urban imaginary of the Cordovan artist Antonio Seguí with a playful and experimental tour designed especially for children.

The participatory exhibition will take place in four rooms of the Cabildo de Córdoba. In its tour, aimed at arousing the interest and curiosity of children and adults, proposals such as a journey through the life of the artist, assembly, fitting and creation games, a model where they can assemble a city imagined by Antonio Seguí and a real one, a collaborative workshop for the completion of murals and as a closing, a space to leave good ideas for our city.

MUSEUM

Superior Museum of Fine Arts Evita- Palacio Ferreyra: Avenida Hipólito Irigoyen 511. Time from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tour of the Museum rooms with games and fun activities for visitors to discover, participate and interact with the artistic interventions made especially for this event. They can discover and enjoy the works of the Museum’s collection, the architecture of the Palace and its Park.
