Within the framework of the activities for the Memory Week, the Córdoba Joven Agency, together with the Undersecretary of Human Rights and the House of Memory of Río Cuarto, painted a mural in tribute to the 30 thousand disappeared from the last military dictatorship.

Young people from the city participated in the activity, the National Deputy, Carlos Gutiérrez and Magalí Rojo, member of the Córdoba Agency, were also present, among other local officials.

“I have the satisfaction of participating in this activity where they are all young. Memory is a daily construction, which should not skew in the effort to transmit the ‘Never Again’ to the new generations”, said Gutiérrez. And he added: “This involves the challenge of adapting the communication and values of Never Again to the new generations.”

“Within the framework of the Month of Memory we want to resignify what happened, throughout the year, not just on a specific date. From the Agency we carry out the program, ‘Young people activating the Memory’ that aims at that, to be able to bring history closer to our youth, and invite them to participate”, concluded Rojo.
